This is going to be the best Monday I've had in a while

because.... today teams and free agents can officially start communicating. Free agency doesn't begin until Friday, but teams and free agents will have all of this week to figure out what direction they want to go in. Rumors will be flying (in fact, they already have), but hey, at least they'll be about actual basketball instead of what percentage of the BRI the players want.

It's thought that Marc Gasol will re-sign with Memphis, so that leaves Tyson Chandler and Nene' as the headliners for this year's free agent class. Chandler is scheduled to meet with the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, and New Jersey Nets this week. Nene will also meet with the Rockets and Nets. Jamal Crawford and Shane Battier are going to be meeting with teams as well. As things develop, I'll provide updates.
